Bespoke kitchens, South Wales, anywhere in Wales

Bespoke kitchens South Wales …the fact is, all of our kitchens are made in Wales (actually in the Cynon Valley). That said, most of our kitchens are installed in the Home Counties and elsewhere in the UK. We’d really really like to be fitting more kitchens in Wales.

Not that we’ve got anything against fitting kitchens everywhere else – we make new friends wherever we go. (Berkshire, Surrey, Bucks, Essex, Middlesex, Kent, Lancashire, West Midlands, Yorkshire, Cornwall)

Wales: a proud tradition of furniture & cabinet making

You know that Wales is the Land of Song. It’s true, and quite a few of the Celtica team are tidy musicians. But Wales is also a land of woodwork. We have a fine tradition of joinery and furniture making. It goes back centuries.

Have you been to the National Museum of Wales at St Fagans, just outside Cardiff? If not, you should. It’s a wonderful open air museum with original Welsh cottages, farmhouses, shops, a school, a chapel, a church – all fully furnished. Life was hard but there was the comfort of beautiful furniture, solidly made, passed down from generation to generation, the dresser especially. The furniture at St Fagans has always been an inspiration for Celtica design and craftsmanship.
You might be thinking of a German, Italian or Scandinavian kitchen. Just bear in mind that in Wales we can punch well above our weight in furniture and cabinet making.
